Andy Bonchonsky

Andy Bonchonsky begins his first year at San Tan as Director of Coaching. He will be responsible for player, coach and team development. Andy comes to San Tan after 10 years of Director of Coaching experience at the Bay Oaks Soccer Club in Oakland, California. Prior to Bay Oaks, Andy was the head coach of the women's program at the University of California at Berkeley, where he led the team to a #2 national ranking and the national championships. Andy has 28 years of coaching experience at various clubs and universities, as well as experience in the olympic development program (ODP). He has coached multiple California State ODP teams, producing four state cup championships and two regional championships. As a player, he was a state champion and offensive MVP in souther California. He played college soccer at UCLA, where the team was ranked as high as #2 in the nation.
