Recreational League

At San Tan, we a fun and educational experience for kids, beginning with their first experience in soccer to their fullest potential as athletes. Our Recreational League serves approximately 2000 kids, offering programs for players in aged 3 to 18.

The recreational program focuses on teaching fundamental ball skills in a fun, positive atmosphere.  All players play a minimum of 50% of each game.  Coaching is primarily performed by a volunteer parents.  Professional trainers are available on a limited basis for recreational teams, at no additional cost.

Registration by Mail: San Tan no longer offers registration by mail. All registration must be done online. Payment may be made either by credit card or by check. Instructions are online in the registration program.

Who: Boys and Girls, Ages 3 to 19, at any level of play

Cost:

  • U4-U5 Coed: (Includes t-shirt, award, and picture package)
    • $65 if paid/postmarked by 6/14/08
    • $80 if paid/postmarked between 6/15/08 and 8/9/08
    • $95 if paid/postmarked after 8/9/08
  • U6 Coed: (Includes jersey, shorts, socks, award, and picture package)
    • $80 if paid/postmarked by 6/14/08
    • $95 if paid/postmarked between 6/15/08 and 8/9/08
    • $110 if paid/postmarked after 8/9/08
  • U7 - U12 (Coed or Girls Only): (Includes jersey, shorts, socks, award, and picture package)

  • Sibling Discounts
    • $10 discount for the third player in the family
    • $20 discount for the fourth player or more in the family

Fall Season Picture Day: (9/26/08 and 9/27/08)

Types of Teams:

  • Coed:  Teams formed with boys and girls.  Historically, these teams have consisted primarily of boys, but girls are always welcome.
  • Girls Only:  Teams formed with girls only (U7 through U12 only)

Playing Up:  With parental permission, a child may play up in an age division (example:  a U8 player playing in U9).
