San Tan Summer Camp - July 7-25, 2008

San Tan's annual summer camp is available to players of all levels of play, from ages 3 through 13. The camp is based on having fun, teaching a sound foundation of ball control, and establishing a basic understanding of the rules of the game. Players will receive technical instruction based on fun educational games with small goals. A portion of the training will also be devoted to tactical concepts and strategies.
Camp sessions feature exercises to develop coordination, agility and reaction speed.  Participants will improve their passing, trapping, dribbling, shooting, juggling and other team and individual skills.

Players may choose to participate in one week, two weeks, or three weeks' of sessions. Any combination is acceptable. Opening Day - September 6, 2008

San Tan will host its 5th Annual "Opening Day" event on September 6th.  This event is designed to bring together our competitive and recreational groups for a fun day. "Opening Day" offers an opportunity for recreational players and their families to participate in a number of fun activities. It also helps our competitive players (Legacy) raise funds for such things as professional training, travel expenses, and tournaments.  A silent auction and raffle will be held, with numerous games and plentiful food.  Several large, inflatable "bouncies" will be set up at the fields for the younger children.  Opening Day is always an exciting event, helping to unify the Club and the Community.

San Tan ASU Night - September/October 2008

Each year San Tan is invited to attend a women's soccer game at Arizona State University.  While the exact date has yet to be established , it is typically held on the weekend in September or October.  On several occasions San Tan players have been invited to be ball girls during a game.

Parade of Lights - December 2008

Each December, San Tan players participate in the City of Chandler's Parade of Lights.  Turnout for last year's parade was exceptional, with several hundred players participating.  The parade length was 2 1/2 city blocks, from Chicago Street to Buffalo Street on Arizona Avenue.  Participating San Tan players wore a collage of blinking lights, something akin to a "walking christmas tree".   Prior to the parade, a pot luck picnic was held, with lots of food and fund for everyone.  The parade is a great event, helping to bring community awareness to San Tan and provide a venue for team-building. The parade also features a number of categories with awards to the "winners" of each.

3v3 Live Soccer Tournament - May 2009

San Tan is again helping the 3v3 Live Tournament in its marketing efforts.  The 2009 tournament will again be held May.  Details regarding fields and entry registration will be posted in the spring of 2009. The tournament is available to players in age groups U6 through senior adults.  Teams consist of up to 6 players.  Each team will play 4 games.  All players receive an official 3v3 Live Tournament t-shirt.  Division winners receive medals.  The top 4 finishers in each age group will advance to the West Finals.  If you are interested in playing, please contact your coach.  Legacy teams' coaches will be forming player pools and specific teams.  Play is open to all levels of ability.  Recreational players are encouraged to participate.
