Since 1979, San Tan Youth Soccer Association has been working with kids creating a path for players to develop, beginning with their first experience in soccer to their fullest potential as athletes. San Tan Youth Soccer Association is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We have an administrative staff and professional trainers; however, our organization is run primarily by volunteers.
San Tan Youth Soccer Association has over 1700 kids playing in the recreational program and nearly 500 playing in the competitive program. San Tan offers good sized programs for kids of all skill levels from ages 4 to 18. While Chandler is home-town to most of the players, our sought after program pulls from all neighboring cities.
The recreational program focuses on teaching fundamental ball skills in a fun, positive atmosphere. All players play a minimum of 50% of each game. Coaching is primarily performed by volunteer parents. Professional trainers are available for recreational teams, at no additional cost.
San Tan's competitive soccer program is called "Legacy". The emphasis in the Legacy program is on individual skills development and team-building. Winning is important, but it is not the focus of play in the program. We are developing strong teams and strong soccer players. Players are introduced to a high level of play and coaching at a young age. Legacy teams play in a league against other soccer clubs throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area and sometimes further away. Legacy teams also play in a number of tournaments throughout the state, and sometimes out-of-state.
At San Tan Youth Soccer Association there is a level of play available for all skill levels.
